What this site is

Joseph Flooring and Installation runs this site to show what we stock, explain what we do, and make it easy to get in touch. It is an introduction, not a contract.

What we show and what we charge

We do not publish prices. Flooring cost depends on the room, the subfloor, the amount of cutting and what is already there, and a number quoted without seeing it would be a guess dressed up as a price. Anything we tell you before we have measured is an estimate; the quote after the measure is the figure.

Stock changes daily. We describe what is in the showroom as accurately as we can, and we say when something is an order-in rather than on the floor, but a product listed here is not a promise that it is in the building today. Ask and we will check.

Colour on a screen is not colour in a room. Photographs of floors are as true as we can make them and still cannot be relied on for a match — that is what samples are for, and why we would rather you took one home.

Samples and measures

Reserving samples asks us to put them aside for you to collect; it is not a purchase and there is nothing to pay. Booking a measure books our time, free and without obligation. If you cannot make it, tell us and we will move it — no charge either way.

Using the site

Use it as you would expect: read it, send us a message, come and see us. Please do not try to break it, scrape it wholesale, or use the forms for anything other than talking to us. The words and photographs on it are ours unless credited otherwise.

Links out

Where we link to somebody else — a manufacturer, a map, a calendar — we are pointing at something useful, not taking responsibility for it.

If something is wrong here

We keep this site accurate and we will fix a mistake as soon as we know about it, but we cannot promise it is free of them. If something looks wrong, tell us — it is the fastest way to get it right, and we would rather know.
