A flooring shop with its own crew
We opened on Queen Street in Fergus in 2022, and we have been choosing and fitting floors for homes across Centre Wellington ever since. Hardwood, vinyl, laminate, carpet and tile — sold by the same people who come and lay it.
How we started
A proper flooring shop, close to home
We opened in 2022, as the area was finding its feet again after the pandemic. The idea was a simple one: Fergus deserved a flooring shop of its own — somewhere you could stand on a real floor in daylight, ask straight questions, and get an honest answer.
Before that, choosing a floor around here meant a drive to a big-box store, a catalogue, and somebody who had never seen your room. We thought the job deserved more care than that.
That is still how we work today. We measure, we help you choose, and our own crew fits it. Nothing gets handed to a stranger halfway through.
What we care about
Good work, and people we will see again
Fergus is not a big place. We would like to still be here in twenty years, and that only happens one satisfied kitchen at a time.
People first
A floor is a big spend in a family home. We would rather take the time to get it right than sell you something you regret — and if a cheaper option suits the room better, we will tell you so.
Workmanship
Our own crew does the installing. The person who measured your room is the person who answers for how it looks when the job is finished.
Relationships
A lot of our work comes from people sending their neighbours. That only happens when the floor was fitted well and the whole thing was pleasant, so both matter to us.

Everything out where you can touch it
Daylight through the skylights makes a real difference when you are picking a colour. Under shop lighting alone, most floors look a shade warmer than they will in your house.
